The Time Traveling Porcupine
What happens if we put a porcupine in a time machine and just let him go?
We know what happens with humans, because we have people who tell us about the magic of time travel (fictional or not, that's up to you to decide). There's different theories and such, but we don't have a porcupine who's gone through time and has lived to tell the tale. How can we know how the theories apply to them?
Let's take Sebastian (starring in the movie adaption of The Hobbit) for example.
What would happen if he stumbled into the coat pocket of the Doctor (of Doctor Who)? Would he make through time alright? Would he age? Would he spontaneously combust? Poor Sebastian would never know what hit him. I've decided that we mustn't send a porcupine through time just to see what would happen. There's too many risks, and porcupines are valuable creatures for sled races. We need them.
If you find a porcupine, please don't send him through time. I don't know how to get him back.
That is all.

I could have sworn that Bilbo Baggins was the star of the Hobbit....
