The TMI Tag (UPDATED!)
Hello, lovelies!
I did this tag a few years ago (you can click HERE to read it), but I love these kinds of Q&A style posts, and I figured it was about time to update my answers since it's been a while since I answered these questions. (:
So I hope you enjoy, and if there's any questions in there you find interesting, I'd love it if you answered them in a comment below.
* * *
1.) What are you wearing?
Ugh, I wish I could say that I'd gotten glammed up a little bit since my previous TMI tag, but I'm still wearing athletic shorts (navy blue soccer shorts with white stripes this time) and a basic t-shirt that's grey and says "Maroon Strong" on it. Basically it's my summer pajamas.

3.) Ever had a terrible breakup?
I don't think I'd call it even an official breakup; it was more of an awkward slow drift apart. But it's okay because everything worked out for the better in the end, and it was all a good learning experience that helped me find myself again. (Cheesy? Maybe. True? Of course.)
4.) How tall are you?
4.) How tall are you?
This Gandalf gif hopefully gets you into a Hobbiton state of mind. I'm 5'4", which is supposedly average height for most women, but here in Michigan it makes me a midget compared to all the insanely tall Dutch-blooded people everywhere.
5.) How much do you weigh?
Around the 110 lbs. mark I think. But before you panic and tell me that's not very much, keep in mind that I'm short, and also that most of that weight is muscle from working out. I promise I'm not starving myself, so don't worry! (:
6.) Any tattoos?
I wish! Someday I'd like to get a smaller tattoo on my wrist or near my collarbone of a word or symbol that means a lot to me. At this point I'd probably choose to get it written in Hebrew because of how impactful my Israel trip was to me.

I only have my ears single pierced, but I've always contemplated getting my cartilage pierced. If I wasn't a chicken when it comes to pain, and also the fact that I don't know if I want that kind of commitment, I probably wouldn't gotten it pierced already. For now I like sticking with ear cuffs because then I can choose when to have a little extra flair.
8.) OTP?
8.) OTP?
Jenna Marbles and Julien Solomita are probably the most adorable Youtuber couple ever. I love how silly they are together, but you can tell how much they care about each other at the same time. Also, they adopted a hamster spontaneously one time, which I wholeheartedly support.
9.) Favorite show?
I really don't watch that many TV series overall, which I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing. For a while I was into the show Travelers on Netflix, and then for a while I was into Pretty Little Liars before I got bored with how repetitive it was. I also tried getting into the Walking Dead and Stranger Things, but I get spooked way to easily to watch those ones too. Oops!
10.) Favorite bands?
10.) Favorite bands?
Currently I've been obsessed with the band AJR, which is made up of three brothers from New York. Their music is what I would describe as a mix of indie and pop, which tend to be the genres I lean towards when listening to music. I love how catchy their songs are, but also how there are some deep underlying meanings to their words as well. If you want a few recommendations of songs to listen to to get into their music, I'd recommend Turning Out, Come Hang Out, Call My Dad, and I'm Not Famous.
11.) Something you miss?
11.) Something you miss?
I miss having so much free time in the summer that all I wanted to do was draw pictures with sidewalk chalk and spend as much time out in the sun that I could. It's tough working five days a week for 8+ hours, and even though I know other people have it much worse than I do, I do miss having a chance to be a little bit childish sometimes rather than full adulthood.
12.) Favorite song?
Turning Out by AJR has been my absolute favorite song recently. I'm obsessed with how chill it is, but it also has a really deep emotional pull to it, and the simplistic words really hit home with me and made me cry the first time I heard it.

13.) How old are you?
As of this post I'm eighteen, which is so strange to think about. I remember when I was about seven years old I had my whole life planned out of what it would look like in ten years, and we're already past that ten year mark. That's insane.
14.) Zodiac sign?
14.) Zodiac sign?
Sagittarius.
15.) Quality you look for in a partner?
I look for someone who has a similar sense of humor, because I like not only laughing, but being able to make other people laugh as well. I also look for someone who is a deep sense of caring and also makes me feel safe enough to ask stupid questions and be completely myself. Emotional support is also huge for me, and I look for someone who knows when sometimes I just need a hug rather than a speech about what to do and not do.
16.) Favorite Quote?
"Embrace whimsy."- Bob Goff
Emma Watson. Hands down.
She's so talented and lovely, and I think off-camera the values she supports and the attitudes she has towards various serious topics are ones that I can stand behind.
18.) Favorite color?

18.) Favorite color?
I still would say my all time favorite color is blue, but I've been extremely partial to a bright, sunny yellow lately, and I think that's probably my second favorite.
19.) Loud music or soft?
19.) Loud music or soft?
It honestly depends on my mood. Usually if I'm driving in my car with the windows down with some friends I'll want to just blast the music and sing along, but if I'm inside working on a new blog post or something like that, soft music is where it's at.
20.) Where do you go when you’re sad?
20.) Where do you go when you’re sad?
I wish I could say that I have a cutesy little place to go when I'm sad, like a coffee shop or something like that, but I literally will just curl up in my bed and pull all the covers up under my chin. Usually I'll face the wall, but sometimes I'll prop my phone up on the table next to my bed and listen to some music.
21.) How long does it take you to shower?
Probably about fifteen minutes total. The actual showering part is ten, but then wrangling my hair into place and all the other good shower stuff takes another five.

22.) How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
I'd have to say maybe ... forty minutes? It takes me a little bit to get rolling, but once I'm up, I'm up. I usually set my alarm for at least fifteen minutes earlier than I need to be up, though, because that gives me a buffer if I'm running a little slower than usual or if I just can't heave myself out of bed.
I don't know what it is about this, but I think it's really hot when guys roll up the sleeves of a button-down shirt. I've always found that weirdly attractive, and I have no explanation for it.
25.) Turn off?
I never like guys who are just flat-out rude or ones who come off rude when they're trying to be funny or sarcastic. It's not that hard to be nice to people.

26.) The reason you joined Blogger?
My best friend, July, started one when we were both in sixth grade, and I just thought, "Hey, I wanna do that too!" That's really the only reason I did it, but I'm so glad I did because it's brought so many opportunities and wonderful friends along.

I always get really queasy-feeling around edges of high places. It's not so much a fear of heights, because I can handle being on top of high buildings and mountains, but it's the fear of falling to my death that makes me back up a little bit.
28.) Last thing that made you cry?
28.) Last thing that made you cry?
I had a really rough time a few days ago where something didn't really go according to plans, and also my home life was a little rough for a bit, and I was just so overwhelmed that I started crying while on the phone with my boyfriend.
29.) Last time you said you loved someone?
Just this morning. I always tell whatever family members that are awake before I leave for work that I love them, because you just don't know what might happen during the day. I never leave the house without telling my family that I love them, especially for that reason.

30.) Meaning behind your YouTube Name?
I chose the pseudonym of Seana J. when I first made this blog, and I mostly did it because I liked the way Seana sounded, and I thought the J. added a little something more. It has nothing to do with my real name, but I still like it. (:

31.) Last book you read?
I had gotten this book as a Christmas or birthday present this past year, and I absolutely adore it. It's a collection of poetry, divided up into categories like "The Hurting" and "The Loving". Her poetry is so powerful and it touches really deep topics like rape and learning to love your body. It's a fairly quick read if you just breeze through it, but if you really take time to unpack it, it's a good thinking book.

Well, it's more like the book I'm trying to read. This is a HEFTY book, but I adore the newer Les Mis movie, so I really want to dive into the more in-depth and detailed original book version.

34.) Last person you talked to?
My dad, who was making dad jokes (of course).

35.) The relationship between you and the person you last texted?
Hm. *scrolls through text messages* Aha! It was my boyfriend.

36.) Favorite food?
I have way too many favorites to try and squish them into this post, but I adore things that are peanut-butter flavored, and I also love lemon and/or raspberry flavored things.

I desperately want to visit Scandinavia someday. The landscape looks absolutely stunning, and of course I think the food looks fantastic too. I'd also love to visit Australia and New Zealand and everywhere else in Europe, but one thing at a time. (:
38.) Last place you were?
Work. (Boring!)

39.) Do you have a crush?
Well, I'm dating someone so does it count as a crush if your crush crushes you back and now you're a thing? Someone please clarify.

40.) Last time you kissed someone?
I'm not gonna kiss and tell.
Oh jeez ... I honestly don't know. I feel like I haven't been truly insulted in a long time, it's just been little joking insults recently that I don't take seriously.
Lemonlemonlemonlemonlemon! (Need I say more?)
43.) What instruments do you play?
I'm a bit of a "jack of all trades" type of girl, and so I can play the flute, piano, and guitar, but the overall skill level across the board with those isn't crazy, but I'm competent at all of them. I'd love to relearn to play the piano as well as I used to be able to, and I'd also really like to get back into playing my guitar too.

This is my necklace that I bought in Israel and got custom-made for me with the Hebrew word for "Ein Gedi" on it. Ein Gedi (or Engedi) is a place we visited in Israel, and it's where we learned to be living water in people's deserts, and I just absolutely adore this necklace. I never take it off, and it's become something that I like to wear in order to remind myself to be that living water for another person in whatever I do.
45.) Last sport you played?
Uhh ... does mini golf count?

46.) Last song you sang?
This is a song called "The Good In Me" by Jon Bellion. I recently listened to his entire "Human Condition" album while on a ten hour long flight, and this song is amazing. The song itself is actually a little bit sad, but I love the slightly techno pops it has, and also the sound of his voice is really soothing.

47.) Favorite chat up line?
"Want a raisin? How about a date?"
48.) Have you ever used it?
... Yes.
... Yes.
49.) Last time you hung out with anyone?
I hung out with my best friend July just last weekend actually, and we went to a little place called Country Dairy where they have ice cream and other dairy products along with real cows that you can pet. There was one cow there that fell in love with me and kept licking my elbow and getting cow snot on my sleeve, so getting a selfie with a real cow was a struggle. Instead, you can enjoy this fake cow selfie.

50.) Who should answer these questions next?
You! Your mom! Your dog! Your best friend's uncle's goldfish's second cousin's daughter! (No, seriously, whoever wants to leave a little comment in response to a question or two can.)
