Happy March
Happy March, lovelies! Frightfully sorry that I haven't been responding to comments (I was rather busy last night finishing some history homework, cramming for the Bar Exam, and performing at the band concert). But I'm hoping to respond to some comments today sometime....probably after 5 o'clock since I have play practice until then.
So.
We've arrived to the month of March. The month where it comes in like a lion and out like a lamb, or vice versa. The month where we have a day dedicated to leprechauns, wearing green, and pinching those who refuse to wear the color.
This is also the month of my father's birthday. Yay. But unfortunately, I haven't the slightest idea what to get him. Any suggestions? Now, be reasonable. I'm not exactly bursting with cash.
And now I can't seem to find my hairbrush. Bah. Perhaps the Nargles took it.
Never mind. I found it. It was hiding underneath my dresser with some bobby pins and a pair of earrings. I think they're planning a conspiracy.
Cheers,
Seana.
What does your dad like to do? Like, what are his hobbies?
ReplyDeleteMy dad's really outdoorsy. He loves hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, hunting, you name it.
DeleteHmm...how about you give him an experience with you that's priceless? :) Like say you'd like to go biking or hiking or fishing or skiing with him, depending on how the weather is where you live when his birthday rolls around.
DeleteOoh! That's a great idea! Thanks!
DeleteNo problem. :)
DeleteYou could make him coupons-- "Good for cleaning the garage", "Free car-wash", "Family Board Game", "Movie Night with Popcorn", etc.
ReplyDeleteOr... *lowers voice* you could pull a tie he hasn't worn in ten years out of the back of the closet and wrap that... though I suppose that's not entirely honest...
Good luck.

LOL!!
DeleteMy dad doesn't wear ties that much, so I'd have to dig and dig and dig through his closet. :P
DeleteJust don't let him catch you looking in his closet. or you can use an excuse like "I'm trying to see if I can see Narnia."
DeleteThat's a great excuse! I shall use that someday!
Deleteawesome! hehe :)
DeleteYay for fun excuses!
DeleteLOL! They must be plotting against the socks. :p
ReplyDeleteWhat does your dad like? Maybe a book? does he love coffee? Maybe a gift card?? I do know one thing, guys love TVs LOL! and the bigger, the better. Or a "wife-beater" shirt (tank top) or a unicorn or... Wait, those aren't for real. :p Just playing with you.
Seriously, I don't know, but maybe it'll help if you tell us what things he likes to do. :)
Ooooh, a sock conspiracy! Dun, dun, dunnnn.....
DeleteMy dad likes outdoorsy things. (You can read my reply to Emma a few comments up if you'd like the whole list of his hobbies.)
Oh. Gross. No way am I getting my father a tank top.....bad, bad mental image. *groans and buries face in hands*
LOL!!
DeleteLOL, sorry, my brother taught me that one. How about a pair of new hiking shoes? a watch? I forgot the name of those belt pouches... Or sunglasses? How about an RV? :P That's all I got. **scratches head
I thought I saw a sock roll by... Dn dun duuunnn uh oh, the earrings are ganging up on the sock!
Belt pouches? You mean....fanny packs? :P
DeleteOh no! The bobby pins are in on it too!
Yeah, there ya go! Fanny packs. :P LOL wonder why they are called fanny packs if they are not used to cushion the butt?
Deleteuh oh, you're right. The bobby pins look ticked at the socks. :O
Who knows?
DeleteWait, bobby pins! Those are my favorite socks!
LOL! Uh oh, should we get out of their way?
DeleteMight be a good idea. Eek, look out, Hilda! Incoming bobby pins!
