Confessions of a Bitter Secret Santa

Hello bloggers and bloggees! Today we practiced for a band/choir concert that is happening this evening. But us band folks have to wear our uniforms when we sing. So like half of us will be wearing navy and gold (it's really a revolting shade of mustard, don't let them fool you!) and the rest will be wearing dressy clothes and look totally awesome. *Sighs* I suppose you can't always look cute. :)

Today's book is called Confessions of a Bitter Secret Santa by Lara Bergen.
This book is about a girl named Noel. Her school has a secret santa drawing, and is paired up with the new girl Mia who she doesn't know. Who doesn't talk to anyone. But it gets worse. Her best friend gets Noel's crush and are caught when they try to trade secret santa's. Noel doesn't think that it can get any worse than this. But it can. All of Noel's friends get to go on fun vacations, while Noel is stuck at home with her family. She tries to tough it out, but her secret santa is the worst and doesn't even decorate her locker like all of the other secret santa's did, and the only presents she got are some small things that she doesn't even like. Noel knows exactly who her secret santa is. Mia. That's the only person who would do this to her! Is Noel right about who her secret santa is? Or is she furious at the wrong person? Read and find out!

Seana's opinion about the book: This was a very easy read, but a fun one. Noel is hilarious at times with her "I don't wear socks" rule. The author makes the story hint that Mia did actually do it, but you'll have to read if she did or not. I would recommend this book for someone who wants a good book, but not a very long one.
