I'm So Sure
Hi everyone! Today after playing tetherball, by knuckles randomly started bleeding. Ew! And my friend July got in a bit of a scuffle today after school...won't go into details there! :)
Today's book is called I'm So Sure by Jenny B. Jones (Second book in the So Not Happening series)
Think you got it rough? Bella Kirkwood would disagree. Her stepdad's a wrestler and he just signed his family up for a reality TV show. Bella's gotten used to living in Truman, Oklahoma even though she does miss Manhattan, couture clothes, and her dad. But she's making new friends and sort of enjoying working for their school's newspaper. Then the whole reality show is broadcasting her life across tabloids and the news. And as if having a camera follow her around wasn't enough, she discovers a conspiracy against the Truman High prom queen candidates. As her relationship with her editor Luke tips between romance and friendship, Bella's ex-boyfriend Hunter enters the scene again and vies for Bella's attention. Trying her best not to be in a love triangle working to solve the prom queen mystery, and trying not to look like a complete fool in on national television, finally motivates Bella to start talking--and listening--to God more.
Seana's opinion about the book: This book shows Bella's feelings and confusion about her different situations, and that makes it easier to get to know her. The author has good sentence fluency and word choice and the plot line is excellent.
Seana's question of the day: What is your favorite name? (It cannot be your own.)

Thanks. By the way I emailed the victim and apologized. He accepted... I was so relived. Don't say it... you know why. I feel really bad about that.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite name is somewhere along the lines of Autumn or Emyli.
