Courageous Movie

Ello everyone! Yesterday I watched the movie Courageous! Best. Movie. Ever! Seriously, it was the most inspirational movie I have ever seen, and it had a Christian background to it too. Bonus! =D If you haven't seen it, here's a brief summary: There are a bunch of dads who get so busy with their jobs that they start paying less and less attention to their families. Then one father experiences a tragedy. His nine-year old daughter Emily passes away in a car accident. And this father is overcome with grief as he remembers that she wanted him to dance with her, but he had refused. So he comes up with a resolution that he thinks all of his dad friends should follow to be the best fathers they can be. Then of course, we can't forget the Hispanic man named Havier (never mind how it's spelled). He loses his job, and one of the police dads calls him over to work for him on a project, and it's the perfect thing to answer his prayers. Havier is actually the funniest guy in the movie. He tells the police dads that he was once in a gang called the Snake King with his brothers. And they would try to kill snakes. ^.^ Havier was in the car when the police men had to go and arrest some REAL gang members, and they made up this really funny scene where the police men make Havier sound like a murderer who should be feared by all. And since there are three gang members, one of them has to sit next to Havier in the car. And Havier says really normal things like, "We are going to get lunch. I think I'll have a chicken sandwich." Except that he says it in Spanish, and the gang dude doesn't know that, and Havier says it in such a dramatic voice it sounds like he's threatening the guy! Haha!


If I were you, which I'm not FYI, I would watch this movie right now if I could. It is a faith inspiring movie that will CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
