Poll
You might have noticed the new poll on the right-hand side of the blog, or you might have not. Either way, it's there. It's for my Melody's Song sequel. I'm having a hard time coming up with a title for it. (Not that I'm anywhere near done with the first). I've got the plot worked out, but I'm struggling with a title. Here's a quick summary:
After Melody discovers her ability to transform into a mermaid with the help of a song and a necklace, she's made her home in an underwater kingdom. But in this chapter of her life, her memory is gone. (HOW? I'm not gonna tell ya!) All of her childhood memories. Her friends. Her FAMILY. The prince of this kingdom sets off in search of the Pearl of Wisdom that legend says can restore all and any memories the person wants it to. But the catch is that whoever gives them the pearl will lose all memories of that person. (The prince will loose all memories of Melody if he gives it to her.) Even knowing this, he still sets off. While he's away, the rival kingdom comes and attacks knowing that without their prince they are weak and unstable. Since Melody has no idea why or where she is, she takes up the sword to fight. She learns essential battle skills fighting, and helps to fight off the other kingdom. With her ever growing ego, and the prince searching for something that might not even be there, it looks like a pretty sticky predicament for both of them. If the prince ever finds the legend's pearl, will Melody even want it after all she's been through? And if she does, will the prince be willing to forget her?
